Mobile Dental Visit
The Tooth Angel is a very kind and empathetic dental professional that will carry out a mobile dental check-up for your child, which includes a dental tooth clean, toothbrushing instructions and a Tooth Mousse remineralising agent where clinically required which tastes delicious and provides extra protection for the teeth.
Consent and bulk billing
The Tooth Angel will email an advertising pamphlet to the childcare centre and or school one month before the organised Mobile Dental Visit. Parents are then to go online to fill out this form Medical History/Child Treatment Consent Form It is important that the forms are returned as soon as possible, as we will need to check your child’s eligibility for Bulk Billing under the Child Dental Benefit Schedule. However, if your child is not eligible, we will contact you for payment prior to the visit.
Setting up
At the mobile Dental visit, we will need a small space or classroom to set up and a powerpoint accessible. The Tooth Angel will bring all dental tools and is happy to set up and pack up. During the dental exam it would be helpful if the childcare and or school teacher could help bring the children in groups and help them have fun at the dental visit. Parents and Legal Guardians are able to attend the Mobile Dental Visit if you request, however it’s not mandatory.
Gift Pack
The Tooth Angel will leave a tooth gift pack with your childcare centre and or school for each child treated. The Tooth Angel will send your child’s report and invoice to you by email after the visit. This will include the information about your child’s dental exam. If further dental treatment is required for your child, it will be noted in the report and you’re welcome to see a private dentist and I can also offer recommendations if requested.
Follow-up
The Tooth Angel plans to return to your childcare centre and school & carry out 6-12 months Mobile Dental Visits, which helps your child to learn healthy habits to ensure they become healthy adults, as well as becoming comfortable with the dental visit and Oral Health Therapist.
